Covenant Presbyterian Church of Chicago
Covenant Presbyterian Church is located at 2012 W. Dickens Avenue, Chicago, IL
60647, just north of Damen & Armitage. The church provides services every Sunday at 9am and 10:45am. Covenant’s mission includes providing resources
and support to individuals within the City of Chicago as well as around the
world. Members of Covenant Presbyterian Church “seek to both experience and live out the renewing grace of Christ through worship, teaching, relationships and
outreach.”
For Youth:
Students in grades 6-12 can join a variety of activities at Covenant
Presbyterian Church. The Covenant Youth Ministry (CYM) provides opportunities
for youth to learn “through relational, life-on-life discipleship in a variety
of ways and settings.” Group leaders encourage openness, reflection, and
application of scripture to daily life through social and spiritual experiences.
Group leaders build rapport and a comfort level with youth through one-on-one
interactions as well as group activities.
The following CYM services are available:
*Youth Group Events: meets the second Sunday of each month in
homes of members of the church
*Guy’s Nights & Girl’s Nights: meets the fourth Sunday of each
month for gender specific activities
*Sunday School: meets at 10:45am each Sunday in small groups based
on gender
*Service Work: meets throughout the year to serve those in the
community (for example, working with homeless individuals in Chicago)
For Parents & Families: Individual and family services are provided through the
Covenant Care and Counseling Ministry (CCCM). A trained non-licensed counselor
offers free and confidential assistance for those who are facing life challenges. Counselors will “support you in emotional, spiritual and practical ways.” Outside resources and referrals are available when needed. To set up an appointment, email l[email protected].
