About: Street-Level Youth Media is a non-profit organization located in the Bucktown/Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago. Street-Level educates Chicago youth on digital technology and media arts creation to encourage positive self-expression and promote social change. This organization is perfect for those students passionate about social justice through creative communication. Mission: Street-Level Youth Media educates Chicago’s urban youth in media arts and emerging technologies for use in self-expression, communication, and social change. Street-Level’s programs build critical thinking skills for young people who have been historically neglected by public policy makers and mass media.
